The MR ergometer is an ergometer for use during MR studies. It can be used in a variety of MR scanners. The MR ergometer workload is controlled with an electronic braking principle especially designed for use in a MR environment. The moment of inertia is 8,4 kgm2. The MR ergometer is standard supplied with a 3.5” display and power unit. The display offers the possibility to read out the rpm and workload and is supplied with an optical cable. The communication module makes it possible to control the ergometer with the optional LEM software.
Since all moving parts in the magnetic field are non-metallic and non magnetic, the zero load is not increased even when pedalling in the bore of the scanner. The ergometer is fitted to the patient support with a brand- and support-specific adapterframe. Options are available to control workload from the MR control room.
