The Corival is one of the most popular ergometers worldwide. The low start-up load of 7 Watt is unique. The Corival can be controlled easily by all known stress ECG and pulmonary devices in the world. The Corival has an eddy current electro-magnetic braking mechanism. The biggest advantage of this system is the accuracy which is one of the most important Lode principles. With this ergometer, the stress tests performed are reliable and reproducible. The workload is adjustable in a range of 7 to 1000 watt. Moreover, the noise level is reduced to a minimum. This ergometer can be used for obese and elderly test subjects and in rehabilitation settings. The ergometer is suitable for test subjects up to 250 kgs. The Recumbent ergometer is easily accessible for all test subjects.
This is possible for all ergometers from 2004 on. Since 2009 it is possible to create yourn own calculation by using the adjustable resistance. Note: both pedalling speed and workload are taken into account by estimating the travelled distance.
The HR option is the well known Polar* heart rate receiver. The receiver is integrated in the software of the controller. The test subject has to wear the heart rate belt around the chest. The receiver is placed in front of the test subject (or integrated in the controller in case of a Corival) and the HR data will be displayed on the controller of the ergometer
Your Lode ergometer is standard supplied with one display. The contrast of this display is factory set and can adjusted by qualified service personal only. If your ergometer is supplied with a programmable option the contrast of this display can be set as follows: go to SYSTEM PARAMETERS select SETTINGS go to CONTRAST. Change the visability according your wishes and save the changes.
Yes you can request the actual pedalling speed and power when you are cycling in Manual, Analogue or Terminal mode.
The load will only be returned when the pedalling speed is 30 RPM or more. For technical details see the Lode RS232 protocol
